This year I am (with the help of the other ministers at Eliot Church) preaching a sermon series entitled "Closer to Creation". It is about those "principalities and powers" in our own lives that keep us from connecting to nature and living more sustainable lives. This Sunday is the first one. In my research and preparation I have found the material from the Renewal Project to be extremely useful for framing these issues in explicitly faith-based ways. I realize that many of my clergy friends are already familiar with this group. But I thought I would post the link anyway.
