So I am thinking of making my way into Boston this week (Thursday, Friday, or Saturday) to check out Greenfest Boston 2009. They are still looking for volunteers, but with the kids in tow, I will most likely be a spectator and report back to you here.
It looks like there is plenty to do, particularly on Friday and Saturday (the two full days starting at 10am) There is a kids' area, somethig called the "Big Green Bus" (filled with earnest Millenials from Dartmouth and powered by french fry oil), the mayor himself (it is at City Hall Plaza), and--if you bring your own water bottle--free water! Considering the weather in these parts, this last may be the most important...
Oh, and it is sponsored by (among other folks) Narragansett Lager, so beer snobs will agree it can't be all that bad...
